TARTE~Review

Hey Everyone!

Today's review is on some of the the new Tarte products which I know some have been out for a while. I'm just a little behind the times. To find out more continue reading below!

Tartelette Amazonian clay matte palette:

This palette consists of 12 MATTE shadows. It includes a mix of lid, crease, and liner colors. This palette is great for both day time and night time looks, subtle and bold. Lately I always tend to go for the more natural look and I use the darker colors for the liner. I'm not adventurous when it comes to bold colors so for me this palette is a great one. This palette is great for any eye color and skin tone. The colors are very soft and blend able and build able. When you are looking for quality and quantity this palette is it! The price might be a little high but for the amount of product that you get and for how versatile it is, I think its well worth the money.
1.50g / 0.053oz x 12 shadows $45

SmokeShow: Black brown matte
Flowerchild: Peachy nude matte
Smarty Pants: Tan matte
Fire Cracker: Bronze copper

Funny girl: Shimmering Champagne
Sweet heart: Peach matte
Rebel: Chestnut brown matte
Leader: Aubergine matte

Tartelette in bloom clay palette: $45
You can also call this the Tartelette 2. This palette contains 12 brand new never seen before shadows. 9 velvety matte and 3 great shimmer colors. This is another great day/night palette. But you can do many looks with it plus some great smokey eyes. I really like this palette but to me it seems very similar to the first one just with some shimmer colors that is it. I would say if you like shimmer and matte get this palette but if you like and use matte shadows more then I would go for the first palette. Since they are same in price. Of course if you are a makeup hoarder/lover then sure why not have both :D The colors are great and easy to use with little fall out.

Tarteist creamy matte lip paint:

I don't know what all to say about these other then I love them!! They have great pigmentation
They are none drying and feel like you have nothing on your lips. Half the time when I wore these I forgot that I was even wareing them unless someone commented on the color. I love the wide range of colors too. Doesn't matter what color you choose they are all great for any time of the time and depending on your mood. One thing that I recommend is that you use a lip liner with them because they do tend to fade. I only tried with out a lip liner to test them out. There is 15 different colors to choose from. I have 7 of them below. Price is $20

From right to left:
Manbun: dark berry
Lovespell: Pink
Twerk: Fuchsia
Yaasss: Lavender
Adorbs: Hot pink
Selfish: Bright pink
Namaste: Nude

Tarteist limited-edition sculpt & slim contour brush $34

This double ended vegan friendly brush is so soft, it doesn't shed with use or cleaning. Clean application. Puts the product right where you want it and grabs the product well. Works great with any contouring palette/ products. For the price I think its well worth the money.

From the moment I opened this box, I was fill wonderful smells. What I love the most is that the soaps are not over powering. The packaging is beautiful and simple. Anyone who love Lavender will love this set. Its a great treat to the end of a busy and stressful day. I love all three of these soaps but my absolute favorite would have to be the Rose Tangerine Lavender soap. I also love that they have an oatmeal one, great for dry skin.  Here is a little more info on the LATHER company.

"LATHER may go to the ends of the earth to source ingredients, but packaging is kept clean and simple. We believe that what goes IN the bottle remains more important than what goes ON it. To further simplify, our sample packs and shopping bags are all comprised of 100% post-consumer recycled materials. Additionally, customers can return empty LATHER containers to our stores to receive 10% off their next purchase. "

"As always, we maintain our commitment to cruelty-free beauty. LATHER is a proud member of PETA, and does not test our products on animals, nor will we work with labs that do. "

They also have partnered with:

For every bar of Olive Oil soap sold, LATHER will donate the equivalent of five bars of soap to Clean the World.

Carbonfund.org is a non-profit organization leading the fight against climate change, making it easy and affordable for individuals, businesses and organizations to reduce and offset their climate impact. YoungBlood Contour Palette Review

Hi Everyone,
Today I am reviewing Youngblood's Contour Palette, and I will start out by saying that I love this palette and is one I use most days! It's a great little palette for every skin color and tone. It has just the right amount of contouring for a natural look, or you can build it up to have a deeper, bolder contour. It contains three highlighting shades and three shades for all your contouring needs. Start out by selecting the right shade for your skin-tone, be it light, medium or dark. The powder applies itself leaving a very soft, velvety finish, which in the end does not feel at all like a powder. I love the packaging, which is always a plus for me. The case is small and sleek and closes with magnets, and once shut, stays closed. It is also very durable and feels like it can take any abuse when carried in a purse. This palette is great to have on hand at home, and is also great for traveling.
Price $47

Meet Blusho

 Hey everyone,

I just received a press release for a new social media page that you might find interesting. The company is called Blusho, and what it sounds like is a pinterest type page that will allow beauty professionals and the general public to view and share makeup looks with a listing of the products they used! Users can also upload their own look to share with others.

Every image will have a title and a description of the look, listing the products that they used and the techniques employed to pull it off. You can search for the look you want, or by the product name they used.

It looks like a neat idea, and I for one am excited to try it out! If you are as well, check them out at:
