I am thrilled to announce that the flagship VIOLET GREY store is opening
to the public today at 8452 Melrose Place in Los Angeles, CA.
What
began as an inspirational styling studio for celebrities, stylists and
artists is now the ultimate beauty destination. A world drenched in
luxury, VIOLET GREY celebrates Hollywood beauty culture by curating the
best in beauty, culled from the kits of Hollywood’s top artists. One of
the most stunning beauty stores in the world, VIOLET GREY is bringing
back old Hollywood glamour through its tightly
curated product offering on The Shelves (both in-store and
online) and editorially rich digital magazine,
The Violet Files.
Nestled
between designer boutiques like ChloƩ, Oscar de la Renta, Marni and
Isabel Marant, VIOLET GREY’s lush in-store experience features interiors
by renowned designer, Bill Sofield. Sofield is known for his work on
boutiques including Tom Ford, Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent
and Bottega Veneta. Design elements include Dean Martin’s makeup chair
in the by-appointment application studio, and
framed Edith Head sketches. VIOLET GREY has transformed the way
consumers shop for beauty by making the experience lavish and
inspirational, defined by necessary products seasonally curated by the
top Hollywood artists and experts. These experts have lined
The Shelves with coveted brands like Serge Lutens, Dior, and Tom Ford.
VIOLET
GREY’s founder, Cassandra Huysentruyt Grey, envisions her consumer as
“discerning and ambitious. She is busy and her time is valuable.
She is looking for a trusted source to build and maintain her cosmetic
wardrobe.”
