Today is a review on the Milani eye palettes and Amore Matte lip creams plus the Conceal + perfect 2 in 1 foundation and concealer. The first eye palette, lip creams and Foundation + concealer are PR samples. The second palatte I purchased.
Earthy Elements & Must have Naturals eye palette.
In this palette you get 6 colors and a small duel ended brush. One end of the brush is more flat and the other end is more a denser crease brush. These brushes are better then the sponge ones you always get. I say keep them because they are great for travel. The palette itself you get a base, contour, lid crease, specialty and liner colorers. The packaging is a heavier packaging then normal drugstore palettes. The colors are very pigmented. The first color is more for highlighted so it doen't seem to be very pigmented but it is build able, I didn't think much of that because of it being a highlighter. On the back they give you ideas for how to use the palette. This a great throw it in your bag palette and go because you have everything you need!. Both these palettes would suite any eye color. They are very blendable and not much color fall out. Price $9.99 at any CVS or Walgreens that I have seen.
Amore Matte lip Cream:
These are basicaly a liquid lipstick. I have really been into the Matte everything lately so I was excited to try these. Once these have tried they pretty much stay on your lips with no transfer. I did notice that about 4 hrs into my day it was coming off. When you first apply these creams they are liquid like and take a few minutes to set. So if you are eating or drinking they will liquify again and transfer everywhere and even bleed. So you do need to keep an eye on that. They feel very light weight and there isn't much texture to them like other Matte lip sticks. Half the time I forgot I was wearing anything. They do have a slight scent to them, to me it smelt kind of like vanilla, not to over powering and I didn't notice it while I was wearing it. Out of all the shades that are below the brown one is the only I can't stand. I'm not one who can where brown lipstick, other then that I think these are great Matte creams and I am love MOST of the shades :)
4. Precious (My personal favorite)
Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 foundation + concealer:
I have heard mixed reviews about this and too me it seems like its a combination of the skin type that you have and a personal preference. For me I have combination skin, which is dry in some spots and an oily tee zone. This to me seemed to be a buildable foundation. I like full coverage some days and this was perfect for that. Only problem is that the lightest shade seems even to dark. It had yellow undertones that were to yellow for my skin type but I was able to blend and with my setting powder that I have it worked out find. It did last for about 8 hrs with minimal touch ups. In my opinon which keep in mind that is all this is. Is that they need more versatile shades. It is also great as just a concealer on those days that you don't want or need much coverage. There is no funky smell and I like how it has a pump because you honestly don't need much!
Let me know if you have any of these and what your thoughts are!!
